Chequered Flag Cafe & Bar

There was a lot of hard work

We had just over 2 weeks to get things done. It was all quite scary really, but luckily we had lots of real good friends that were willing to help. We can't believe how much work was done in such a short time.

The first thing that had to be done was the new roof, luckily the roofing guys did that. Then we had to take a ute load of weed out of the pond. The building had to be painted, (still not finished). The inside had to be painted and pictures, flags and motorbike had to be hung up.

The new sign on the road needed to be made and put up. Some gardening and lawns had to be done.

4 Oclock on Friday afternoon we were in a right mess. Cor said we were opening the doors at 5pm. He said to me to have a bit of a relax before people started to turn up. Yeh right, I don't think so. It was almost the right time to kill him. What is it with these men. I had one hour to clean up a huge load of SH*T. We still had pictures to hang up.

Anyway, have a look at some pictures and see what you think.
