I have to appoligise for my slackness on updating the "Chequered Flag" website.
Our internet connection is terrible and it takes about half and hour to download one picture.
We have just been getting busier and busier as time goes on. if we get any spare time we would rather spend it riding our bikes than sitting in front of a very slow computer.
The Fiat Yamaha R6 has just clocked in at 1100km , so that shows you how much time we have had for ourselves.
I will try to dedicate an hour per week from now on.
Great to see people still looking at the website and signing our guestbook.
What do you think of my Valentines present?????

Thought it would nice to try something different. Only one in New Zealand and we bought it from Waikato Yamaha. Fantastic service and great guys to deal with. We would recomend them to anyone that is in the market for a bike. Thanks Heaps Waikato. They even sent Valentino Rossi with the bike.
We are back from Aussie. It was nice to get away but it was very tiring and not long enough. The best thing was to catch up with the team from "Kiwi Rider" magazine. Yet again, everything was well organised and we had a good time.
Not many gals this time, I had to live with 5 guy's for the weekend. Bugger..................

While we were there we found the most wonderful bike ever.......

One problem,,,,,,,,one of those bloody Aussie's followed me home.

Hi there everyone. We both ride bikes and have done a lot of traveling and been to many rallies. on our travels we could not find any "Biker friendly" places to stop. So we both decided to buy our own place to cater for both bike and car lovers alike.
We bought our place on the 15th Janurary 2007, did a lot of hard work and opened the doors on the 2nd of Feburary. since then we have been run off our feet. The weekends, especially Sundays have prooved to be the most popular for the motorbike and car clubs.
We are here to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere and according to all, we are getting it right. We have some people popping in twice a week and stay for several hours. We try to make everyone feel at home and don't mind how long you stay.
Hope to see you here one day.... Cheers Cor and Helen
Yes, this is us. The two wonderful people that decided to buy a place and turn it into what it is now. We are here to cater for bike riders, petrol heads and locals. We thought it would be good to open a friendly place for "You Guys".
It is our pleasure to provide a place for New Zealanders ( Cor is Dutch and I am English). What I really mean is.............. You won't find the place full of buses and sheep skin slippers.
